Coronavirus (COVID-19): A Global Pandemic

Panic button is already pressed! A global emergency-like situation exists. It is time to unite and fight against deadly hazards of CORONA. This pandemic feels like a World War-3 but against a common foe--- COVID-19. As hue and cry---- all over the place with little or no relief. Everything looks affected, that’s how the world seems to be now.

We have not even thought that this’ll turn out to be a national health emergency in a fortnight. Public places like Malls, Gyms, Schools, Colleges are closed till 31st March. Informal sectors are badly hit. Section 144(CrPC) is already imposed in some states.
The only message for people is to keep the morale high and unite to defeat COVID- 19.

But somehow it has raised awareness about personal hygiene, sanitation etc. which was missing earlier. We can only control the situation by maintaining personal hygiene:

Washing Hands Properly
Personal hygiene is of paramount importance. So, washing your hands with soap and water regularly helps.Usage of sanitizers and handwash curbs spread.Disinfecting and sanitizing surroundings help a great deal.

Avoid Going to Public / Crowded Areas
This poses a serious infection and makes you prone to catch serious infections. You must wear masks in public areas or have some symptoms. Shaking hands, touching your----- mouth, nose, ear may expose to the virus.

Proper Rest / Moderate Exercise / Healthy Diet
No matter how potent the enemy is? If your body’s defence mechanism is strong enough you don’t scare. That’s what these remedies do for you. In nutshells, the immune system of the human body protects from pathogens be it (virus, bacteria, fungi) etc.

Consult Physician
Don’t take medicines without doctor’s consultation.Just seek a doctor’s consultation when you see any symptoms like coughing (dry cough) or fever. But don’t get disillusioned you may suffer from flu/ allergic reaction etc.

Home Remedies- Ayurveda has long-term benefits yet with little or no side-effects. Intake of vitamin C does boost the immune system. Having lemons work wonders. Also, usage of Haldi (turmeric) with warm milk, amla (Indian gooseberry), tulsi (holi basil) and giloy are great immunity boosters.
